Treatment Guidance
Everything you need to know about massage, reflexology and Reiki, and how to get the most from your treatment.
Massage
Massage therapy involves the manipulation of muscles, tendons, ligaments and soft tissues to promote relaxation, relieve tension and improve overall wellbeing. Each session is tailored to your specific needs, whether reducing stress, alleviating chronic pain or improving flexibility. From soothing Swedish massage to deeper therapeutic techniques like deep tissue massage, this hands-on approach encourages circulation, releases muscle stiffness and enhances mental clarity.
Reflexology
Reflexology applies pressure to specific points on the feet, hands or ears, which correspond to different organs and systems in the body. This ancient practice encourages relaxation, reduces tension and stimulates the body’s natural healing processes. By improving circulation and restoring balance to the nervous system, reflexology can ease stress and pain and enhance overall wellbeing.
Reiki
Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and supports emotional balance. Originating in Japan, it involves the gentle placement of hands either on or just above the body to channel healing energy, encouraging the free flow of energy throughout the body to support mental clarity, inner peace and physical healing.

Frequently asked questions
Which treatment is right for me?
Massage focuses on physical relaxation and muscle-tension relief, Reflexology targets the whole body through the feet, and Reiki promotes emotional healing and energy balance. If you’re unsure, I can recommend the best treatment for your goals.
What should I wear during a treatment?
Massage: for full-body massage you undress to your underwear, covered with towels except for the area being worked on; for Thai or Seated Acupressure you stay fully clothed in loose comfortable clothing. Reflexology: fully clothed, shoes and socks removed. Reiki: fully clothed throughout.
What do I do during the treatment?
Simply relax. Switch off your phone, breathe deeply and get comfortable. I may ask you to adjust position, but otherwise close your eyes and enjoy.
How will the treatment feel?
Massage: gentle relaxation or deeper pressure, let me know if anything is uncomfortable so I can adjust. Reflexology: a mix of relaxation and sensitivity in points needing attention. Reiki: warmth, tingling or a deep sense of calm.
How will I feel after a session?
Most clients feel calm, refreshed and deeply relaxed; some feel increased energy or emotional release. Occasionally you may feel tired as the body releases stored tension, this is normal.
Are there any aftercare recommendations?
Drink plenty of water, rest and avoid strenuous activity for the rest of the day, and let your body absorb the effects. Gentle stretching can maintain flexibility after massage and reflexology.
How often should I have treatments?
For general maintenance, monthly sessions are ideal. For specific issues like chronic pain or stress, weekly or fortnightly sessions may be recommended initially, tapering off as symptoms improve.
Can I have treatments if I’m pregnant or have medical conditions?
Yes, though adjustments may be required. Pregnancy massage is available after the first trimester, and medical permission may be needed for some conditions. We’ll discuss any considerations during your health consultation.
Where will the treatment take place?
Treatments are mobile, I bring everything to your home, hotel, workplace or venue, setting up my portable equipment in a quiet space. Ground-floor areas with good space are ideal.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes so I can offer your slot to another client. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee unless due to unavoidable circumstances.
